Austin Symphony Orchestra: H-E-B July 4th Concert & Fireworks

On July 4th, more than 100,000 people gather at Vic Mathias Shores for the largest-ever Independence Day celebration in Austin. The Austin Symphony will be under the apt baton of Austin Symphony Orchestra Music Director Peter Bay. The H-E-B Austin Symphony July 4th Concert & Fireworks features patriotic music, the ever-popular 1812 Overture and spectacular fireworks over Lady Bird Lake.

The H-E-B Austin Symphony July 4th Concert & Fireworks — planned and produced entirely by the Austin Symphony Orchestra — is free and open to the public. The Austin Symphony will begin performing at 8:30 p.m. and the fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m., ending at 10:00 p.m. Come early, bring a picnic, claim a grassy spot and enjoy the patriotic music of the Austin Symphony Orchestra.
